No luck for Skylimit Porsche in 1000km Zolder

Last weekend, the Zolder 1000km race took place. Skylimit entered a Porsche 996 Cup driven by Jo Lammens and Bruno Vermeeren. The driver pair qualified the car in 3rd position.

Vermeeren to strengthen SkyLimit Porsche in Zolder 1000km

The Zolder circuit will host the 1000km on November 12th. This event, formerly known as the Zolder 10 Hours, traditionally closes the Belgian racing season. For this occasion Bruno Vermeeren will join the SkyLimit crew, racing a Porsche 996.

BRD Vankets Motorsport to start in Zolder 24 Hours

Upcoming weekend the Zolder 24 Hours will take place at Zolder. For this race a new structure was formed around Bruno Vermeeren. He will share the wheel of a BMW 325 with Geoffrey Vankets, Alex en Ralph Danckaert.

Alex Danckaert: “We would like to race the Dubai 24 Hours and Zolder will be an excellent preparation for our new formed team.”

Bruno Vermeeren in U.S. Legend Cars supported by Kenny Wallace

After a successful participation in the SuperNationals Event in Las Vegas end of 2010, the team around Bruno Vermeeren has been working hard to extend the adventure on American soil.

Bruno: “We had several options and together with the team we opted for a participation in the U.S. Legend Cars with AndrewsMotorsports. This project can be carried out thanks to the support of Kenny Wallace, NASCAR driver in the Nationwide Series. Our aim is to race the most important events in this championship.

Bruno Vermeeren enjoys the American challenge

Bruno Vermeeren’s adventure on American soil is a success until now. After talks in New York, Washington, Oklahoma, Miami and now the Dominican Republic, the whole team is working hard with local contacts to participate at the Daytona 24 Hours in January. The first race on American soil was the Supernationals event, in Las Vegas in November.

“The whole event was quite nice! The first day we encountered some engine problems. The Rotax was not able to achieve good results toward ROK and Leopard. So we decided to change the engine, we opted for Leopard. The difference was immediate! I entered the top 15 and a received attention from a lot of teams,” explains Bruno.

Zolder 24h – 2nd place despite gearbox problems

The 32nd edition of the Zolder 24 Hours was held last weekend. Bruno Vermeeren took part in this race for the second time in his career. Together with Peter Van Audenhove/Jurgen Van Hover and Tom Langeberg he raced a Speedlover Porsche 996 GT3 Cup car.

Jürgen Van Hover qualified the car in first position within the GTC class with a 1:42.509 lap time, good enough to conquer 13th place in the overall ranking.

Zolder 24h - Bruno Vermeeren to strengthen Speedlover

The Zolder 24 Hours will take place on August 21 - 22. This race is the most important race of the season for a lot of drivers, also for Bruno Vermeeren.

Four years ago, Bruno Vermeeren, Belcar driver for BRV Promoteam racing, switched from karting to GT and Tourism championships. But from 17 to 21 of November he will take part in the SuperNationals, a comeback in the biggest karting event of the United States of America.

BRV Promoteam Racing: mission accomplished

The 3rd meeting of the Belcar Endurance Championship took place at Spa-Francorchamps last weekend. With temperatures around 30 degrees C outside and around 70 degrees C inside the car it was a tough race but BRV Promoteam Racing managed an excellent 7th place in their class.

Davy Suffeleers: “Bruno Vermeeren drove the free practice on Friday but a broken turbo ruined our session.”
